First check with the school nurse or social worker to see if there is a Shoes4School program at your school, if not, you will need to find your school a sponsor. While the personnel at some schools sponsor their own students, this may be too much of a load to place on employees who are already overly extended. Perhaps one of you has a spouse or know of a business associate whose business would be willing to sponsor your school. Please click on I need help finding a sponsor for more ideas.
You can ask your family, friends and co-workers if they know of a school that has a “needy” population, or you can contact our office for help in finding a school. If you would like to begin assisting a child today, make a donation, or begin your own Shoes4School division.
The Shoes4School program is a popular back-to-school as well as a holiday project for many businesses and organizations, but it is a year-round program for most of our volunteer divisions, helping children in need throughout the school year. If you would like to assist a child today, click here to make a donation, or click here to start your own Shoes4School division.
Children are commonly self-conscious of their circumstances, and do not want the stigma of being a child “in need”. Therefore, we recommend that new shoes and all of the items should be given to children in a confidential manner. If you would like to begin helping a KIN (Kid In Need) today, click here to make a donation, or click here to start your own Shoes4School division.
Our program supplies several tools to help manage a Shoes4School division, one of these is a “message to the parents” that explains the Shoes4School program, and where the new shoes and/or other items came from. If you would like to begin helping a child today, click here to make a donation, or click here to start your own Shoes4School division.
Our program works exclusively through the schools, and we are unable to accept requests directly from parents. However, parents may contact their child’s school to request that they be considered for the Shoes4School program. Have the social worker or principal contact our office for information if your school does not have a Shoes4School program in place.
We rely primarily on the school personnel to establish which children are the most in need. If you would like to assist a child today, click here to make a donation.
The primary purpose is to create childrens book clubs to encourage children who like to read to read along with their peers and children who are not yet that excited about reading to become more excited and encouraged to read through fun and interactive book clubs. To learn more click here
Our Mission4Nutrition Program is a program designed to bring awareness to the importance of chilhood nutrition and how it relates to a healthy lifestyle and childhood obesity.
We are in need of athletic footwear for all sizes. Some people think because we are dealing with school children that the shoes should be small but actually many of the children wear adult sized shoes so we accept all sizes. We also are in need of school supplies, back packs and sporting goods to distribute through our Mission4Nutrition program.
Shoes4School provides new shoes and backpacks to KIN (Kids In Need) —we do not accept used articles except for slightly worn shoes or backpacks for our overseas partners. If you would like to help a child today, click here to make a donation.

Shoes4School corporate office is located in Sugar Land, Texas 1 mile South of Houston, Texas in Fort Bend County. All of our contact details are here.
Because many of the children have always had worn shoes and for many this will be their first new pair of shoes. It is our desire to give new shoes to all children in all Country's but as we stated in another answer, it would be remiss to turn down all of the slightly worn shoes when there is such a huge need in other parts of the world.
We take both new and slightly worn shoes. However, we only distribute new shoes to KIN (Kids In Need) in the U.S. We used to only accept new shoes but we realized that there are some very nice slightly worn shoes that KIN overseas would definately benefit from so we send those donations to our KIN overseas along with new shoes.
We serve children ranging from 4 years old to 18 year-olds. Thus, we accept shoes in any size, not just small children's sizes.
If you are a social worker and know a child who needs a new pair of shoes, contact us. Please remember to provide us with your name, organization, the name(s) of the recipient(s), address, and shoe size(s).
If you have one or two hours a week throughout the school year, you could manage a Shoes4School division in your community with little effort. Shoes4School will supply you with all the tools necessary to have a successful division. If you would like to help a child today, click here to make a donation, or click here to start your own Shoes4School division.
