Houston, Texas (September 24, 2009) - Parties, shopping, fashion shows, cocktails, and fabulous glambags, all for charity; GlamShopTM is a glamorized fundraiser shopping event where excited guests are treated to complimentary fashion shows of the must-have fashions of the season, delicious cocktails and food pairings for VIP, fall-fabulous beauty treatments, live music, and much more. Best of all, guests will take home a famous glambag filled with glamorous goodies and freebies.

GlamShopTM is bringing women 21 and over tons of fun, think Sex in the City style meets Houston. Among a sea of media, fashion enthusiasts, business professionals, and trendsetters, select vendors will have the opportunity to showcase their fabulous wares vendor-style, to prepared shoppers.

GlamShopTM will feature two VIP suites featuring style presentations by Houston's esteemed and veteran fashion designer Toni Whitaker, and Houston Board Certified Plastic Surgeon Camille Cash M.D., serving up specialty cocktails and VIP treatment for its guests.

Groove beats will sound by One Love Entertainment and cocktails generously sponsored on the beautiful outdoor patio, while girlfriends shop, sip and have fun all to benefit Shoes4School.org.  GlamShop's famous glamBags will be loaded with fabulous fashion, beauty, and lifestyle finds and and 75 select VIP guests receive VIP glambags with exclusive VIP-only gifts.

Fashion Show Line-up:

October 13th- Fashion show debuting new celebrity fashion line by Macy's.

October 14th- Fashion show by esteemed Houston veteran fashion designer Toni Whitaker and a series of fashion shows by emerging designers

VIP private dinner and dessert tasting with Celebrity Chef Wendell both evenings.

To excite shoppers and drive ticket sales, Macy's will host a kick-off party Saturday, October 10th 6pm-9pm in its Impulse department. Informal modeling of ready-to-wear, live music, cocktails and hors d'oeurves will be served.  Shoes4School.org will also be selling $5 discount cards for Macy's Shop For a Cause with all proceeds to benefit Shoes4School.org.

Shoes4School.org will also raise funds through its raffle, including a 3-carat diamond ring, dinner for two by Chef Jeff, Paul Mitchell beauty baskets and other fashion and lifestyle products and services.
